Behavior of End Restrained Concrete Member in Fire.

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the theoretical analysis and calculation with a digital computer for the thermal deformation of end restrained member in fire.

From these results, it has become clear that the fire endurance of structural member must be estimated by taking into consideration of the supporting condition of the ends.

In this paper, an approach is suggested for the estimation of the fire resistance of end restrained concrete member.
